Provincetown Jazz Festival Coming To Cotuit

The 10th annual Provincetown Jazz Festival will be held on Saturday, August 16, at the Provincetown Town Hall and Monday, August 18, at the Cotuit Center for the Arts.
For 10 years the Provincetown Jazz Festival has presented jazz musicians from the United Sates, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and New Zealand. This year the festival will feature Kathy Kosins, Rebecca Parris, Paul McWilliams, Avery Sharpe, Dane Vannatter, Shawnn Monteiro, and Cape Cod Jazz Quintet with Steve Ahern on trumpet and flute, Bruise Abbott on saxophone and flute, Fred Boyle on piano, Ron Osmsby on bass and Bart Weisman on drums.
Tickets are $25 per concert and can purchased without service fees. A portion of the proceeds are donated to worthy causes.
Free bus transportation to the Provincetown concert on August 16 is being offered by Plymouth & Brockton Street Railway Company. Anyone with a ticket to the festival can board the bus at Exit 6 on Route 6 at 5 PM. The bus will also stop at Exit 10.

The Provincetown Jazz Festival will come to Cotuit Center for the Arts on August 18, with performances by vocalists Rebecca Parris and Shawnn Monteiro and bass player Avery Sharpe. The concert begins at 8 PM.
Tickets for each concert are $25. Cotuit Center for the Arts is at 4404 Route 28 in Cotuit. Town Hall Auditorium is at 260 Commercial Street in Provincetown.
