Great job by the Celtics last night. Down by 14 in the first half, I was ready to throw in the towel on the night, they just looked lifeless through most of the first quarter and into the second. Then our boy Rajon heated up and the Celtics took over. They went from down 14 in the second quarter, to down just three at the break, to up a double digit lead in the second half.
I think they close it out tomorrow night. One, they’re going to be on a mission to show that they can win a road game. Second, without Boobie Gibson, the Cavs are missing one of their top perimeter shooters. Third, Ben Wallace is a cadaver on the court right now. Fourth, when LeBron steps up, everyone else seems to shy away on that team. That’s a big reason they lost last night, I believe. LeBron came to play in the first half, but his teammates weren’t able to keep up with him.
Tonight, no basketball and I’m not with the Red Sox a lot lately. They’re going through a slump and I find its best to just ignore an early season slump as a fan. Don’t get too worked up. Check the score and the change the channel.
Tonight, change the channel to this … The Office season 4 finale. It should be fantastic.
and when you’re done with that, head over to ABC for the first part of the three-part Lost finale. I tell you, the only shows that I like are on Thursdays, and they’re all wrapping up. I see a lot of books in my future this summer because I can’t get into The Mole, or Big Brother, or whatever other crappy reality show they’re stuffing down my throat. My wife is currently watching some reality garbage about a bunch of trashy chicks trying to win the love of a farmer, its like redneck Bachelor. My mission is to make fun of the show so much that she just can’t stand having it on anymore. We all need goals.
