I'm reading a lot of the hoary old cliches people throw out when they don't like a candidate but really have nothing substantial to offer as a criticism of his performance.

Here is a short version of his accomplishment list: http://www.billkeating.org/node/857. I'd sincerely welcome a point-by-point rebuttal explaining how this amounts to "nothing."

I'd also like to know where you found your information that Keating is the "third worst" Congressman (and the context for "worst").

I say all this, in the interest of full disclosure, as an unenrolled voter who does not like within the Ninth District, i.e., someone with no vested interest in the outcome of this race. My only direct concern is whether the guy in office will return my phone calls. I ask these questions because I don't care for rhetoric without facts, which is what much of your comments are.

Congress is broken. 93 percent of Americans are disatisfied with the job theyre doing. To send a career politician like Keating who is clearly not a change agent and us a friend of the powerful insiders to Congress is not going to solve anything. I am voting Sutter. The guy is not a career pol, is widely regarded in the SouthCoast as soneone with clear positions and someone who has delivered. Have yo u seen the ad campaign he ran in the CC Times? It is obvious the newspaper editors on the southcoast believe in Sutter. I have never seen such positivty!

How xan you not criticize Keating? The guy has done nothing. He is listed as the 3rd worst Cobgressman ib the country by opensecrets and us classified as one of the biggest followers in Washington. Thus guy is not a leader. Has been in elected office for 37 years, has not held a real job and never takes a position on wedge issues bc he never wants to upset anyone. Just look at his year long silence on Pilgrim, his no position on fishing and his complete lack of clarity on Afghanistan. Then throw in the fact that more than half of his campaign cash comes from corporate PACs and 75% comes from outside the district.
