First-time commenters must be approved by the author before their comments will appear on the blog. Afterwards, approved guests’ remarks will appear immediately. Comments will not be edited by the blog’s author and will appear as posted, with a few exceptions:

• Links that connect to a commercial or for-profit website will be deleted from posts. The purpose of the blog is to provide a medium for discussion, not provide free advertising
• Hard profanity or highly offensive remarks (or images) will be edited out at the author’s discretion
