“Snark-Infested Waters” is a humor/op-ed blog written and maintained by the author. Although the blog often refers to events in the news, it is not a news site.
The blog is part of Enterprise Publishing, but the author’s thoughts and opinions do not necessarily reflect those of the parent company or its executives or employees.
First-time commenters must be approved by the author before their comments will appear on the blog. Afterwards, approved guests’ remarks will appear immediately. Comments will not be edited by the blog’s author and will appear as posted, with a few exceptions:
- Links that connect to a commercial or for-profit website will be deleted from posts. The purpose of the blog is to provide a medium for discussion, not provide free advertising
- Hard profanity or highly offensive remarks (or images) will be edited out at the author’s discretion
- Posts that stray significantly off-topic, particularly if they degenerate into pointless flame wars with the author or other commenters, may be deleted
