Correction: No one has proposed that the Sandwich Board of Selectmen ban the use of herbicides. On December 16th, the Sandwich selectmen will simply decide whether to support the non-binding resolution asking NSTAR to kindly refrain from spraying the untested mixture of chemicals in Sandwich.

Correction: At a Town of Sandwich meeting last month, there was a brief discussion about NSTAR’s plan to spray herbicides and the town’s lack of authority to ban the spraying, but the panel neglected to address the non-binding resolution. I hope they will vote on the resolution this week.
