Annual Library Book Sale on April 19

The Woods Hole Public Library will hold its big spring book sale on Saturday from 10 AM  to 5 PM. This sale has become an annual event as the book sale committee performs the rite of spring cleaning, clearing the way for loads of new books to come in for future sales. The book sale committee, led by Camilla Larrey and Susan Fishbein, both retired librarians, have been replenishing the shelves and arranging the books by subject, and the fiction alphabetically by author.

The large room in the library’s lower level will be filled with books. Most hardcover books cost $2 and most large paperbacks are $1. For this one-day event, there will be a special price of a bag-of-books for $5.

The book sales are a major fundraiser for the library.

The Woods Hole Public Library is at 581 Woods Hole Road in Woods Hole.
