Two author events will be held at the Sandwich Public Library on Thursday, August 14.
At 10 AM, Lynda Mullaly Hunt will discuss her middle reader books for young readers. Ms. Hunt's most-recent book is “One for the Murphys.”
Patricia Nolan-Brown will be at the library at 6:30 PM to discuss her book, “Idea to Invention: What You Need to Know to Cash in on Your Inspiration.”
Ms. Nolan-Brown has been inventing and marketing problem-solving products for more than 22 years. Among her many inventions is a best-selling car seat mirror, sold internationally, which enables drivers to see infants placed in rear-facing car seats. She has sold tens of millions of products and holds multiple patents and registered trademarks. In her book Ms. Nolan-Brown demystifies the invention process and helps readers convert their ideas into must-have merchandise. This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library. Books will be available for purchase courtesy of the author.
Courtesy registration is requested for both events through the event calendar on the library’s website (www.sandwichpubliclibrary.com).
The Sandwich Public Library is at 142 Main Street.
