For more than 20 years the Falmouth police have been celebrating National Night Out with the citizens of Falmouth.
Similar to last year, the Falmouth Police Department is hosting National Night Out (nationwide community crime watch event) on Tuesday, August 5, between the hours of 6 and 8 PM at the Falmouth Police Station. All of Falmouth’s Crime Watch groups, as well as the public, are invited to attend.
Among other things, the event will include tours of the station, activities for children including face painting, fingerprinting, and having their pictures taken. There will be a K-9 demonstration, displays of equipment, and information tables. Among the agencies represented will be the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department, Falmouth Fire Rescue Department, Falmouth Marine and Environmental Services, US Coast Guard, Red Cross, TRIAD,
Falmouth Prevention Partnership, and Homeland Security.
Also, there will be free food, refreshments, and ice cream.
