Family Fun Fridays Begin At Heritage Museums

Family Fun Fridays have become a tradition at Heritage Museums & Gardens. They provide an opportunity for families to enjoy a musical performance followed by special family activities in addition to the regular offerings that can be found daily at Heritage.

On Friday, July 11, Heritage Museums & Gardens will feature Nickelodeon award-winning children’s entertainer Stacey Peasley at the Outdoor Concert Stage at 11 AM. Special family activities and lawn games will follow, along with a chance to see Wicked Plants and Big Bugs, the two special summer exhibits at Heritage.

Toe Jam Puppet Band will perform at 11 AM on July 18, followed by singer/songwriter Wayne Potash at 11 AM on July 25.

Also coming up for families will be a Birthday Bash for Hidden Hollow on Sunday, August 3, from 1 to 4 PM.

A performance on the Hidden Hollow stage will take place from 1 to 1:45 PM to kick off the celebration. Special birthday activities will also be available throughout the space including birthday cake, which will be served at 2 PM.

All of these events are free with the price of museum admission.

Heritage Museums & Gardens is at 67 Grove Street in Sandwich.
