The Hundred Acre School, opening September 2 at Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich, will host several open houses for parents and caregivers in April and May. Those who participate in the April 30 open house will receive free tickets to Heritage for the day.
The open houses will provide an opportunity to meet the director, discuss the available programs at the school and register for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year.
The Hundred Acre School will engage preschoolers in active learning and preparation for success in school using Heritage’s collections, facilities, and grounds. Its vision is to teach the whole child, emphasizing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) as a springboard to multidisciplinary learning.
Open houses have been scheduled for the following dates:
Tuesday, April 1, from 10 AM to noon
Thursday, April 10, from 2 to 6:30 PM
Wednesday, April 16, from 10 AM to noon
Wednesday, April 30, from 10 AM to 5 PM*
Saturday, May 3, from 10 AM to noon
Monday, May 5, at 10 AM to noon
Thursday, May 8, at 2 to 6:30 PM
*Participants in this open house will receive free admission to Heritage Museums & Gardens for the day.
