A labyrinth is an ancient walking path with a single, non-branching path that leads to the center. It has been used as a spiritual tool as early as 400 BC. The Reverend Joan Murray, an apprentice with the New England Labyrinth Guild, will address the history of labyrinths and lead a guided walk on a seven-circuit Chartres labyrinth on Sunday, April 13, from 3 to 5 PM at Waquoit Congregational Church.
The event is free and opened to the public. It will be held in the church’s parish hall, 15 Parsons Lane (corner of Route 28).
