Meteorologist Tim Kelley from New England Cable News (NECN) in Newton will appear at the Parish of Christ the King, Job's Fishing Road in Mashpee, on Wednesday, September 3, at 1 PM to give a talk about “The prevailing weather patterns here on Cape Cod and why our weather is so interesting, and so very difficult to get the forecast right.”
Mr. Kelley is a Cape Cod native who grew up with a family of hard-working fishermen and builders, thus inspiring him toward his life of understanding and forecasting the weather. A graduate of Lyndon State College in Vermont, Mr. Kelley has been a meteorologist with NECN since the station’s launch in 1992.
The talk is open to the public, and admission is free. Refreshments will be served after the talk.
