Notescape At Higher Grounds Coffee House

Higher Grounds Coffee House this Sunday will feature Notescape, a quintet that specializes in American songbook selections, doo-wop favorites, and tunes from the jazz decades, both a cappella and with guitar. Members are director Tom Goux, bass vocals and guitar; Doug Mann, baritone; Peter Hopewood, second tenor; Peter Clark, tenor; and Joe Hackler, top tenor.

The event takes place from 4 to 6 PM at the parish hall of the Waquoit Congregational Church at the corner of Parsons Lane and Route 28 in Waquoit.

Notescape is dedicating any contributions at the Higher Ground Coffee House to the support of the Choral Boosters at Falmouth High School.

Also performing will be Soulfege, the Falmouth High School a cappella group that just won the Adjudicators’ Award at a choral competition in Washington DC.

Admission is free, food will be for sale, and all ages are welcome.
