Families can explore the forest on Wednesday, May 14, from 10 to 11 AM with the Buzzards Bay Coalition’s free Itty Bitty Bay Explorers program at the Bourne Conservation Trust’s Bourne Sisters Woodland, approximately 205 County Road, in Bourne.
The program is the first of a series of three free outings for families on Wednesday mornings in May. Through fun games and hands-on activities, the whole family can learn about Buzzards Bay’s animals, plants and habitats.
The other programs will take place on Wednesday, May 21, at Little Sippewissett Marsh in Falmouth and on Wednesday, May 28, at Monument Beach in Bourne.
Recommended for families with young children, the coalition encourages families to attend all three programs, but it is not required.
Spaces are limited, and registration is required. To RSVP, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 508-999-6363, extension 219.
