Old-Fashioned Fair@First Congregational Church
When: Sat Dec 7th
9:00 am - 2:00 pm
The First Congregational Church of Falmouth is holding its annual Old-Fashioned Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 7, from 9 AM to 2 PM.
Santa will be there to greet visitors at the door and elves will be circulating with candy canes and bells. The church will be filled to overflowing with two floors of offerings, including handmade items, Christmas decorations, and knitted hats, mittens, scarves, and sweaters for children and adults. Fresh green arrangements of all sizes will be available. A silent auction will be set up at the entrance to the fair. The Country Store will boast bakery items, cheese, fruitcakes, breads, jams, jellies, and penny candy. A Children’s Craft Room will be set up downstairs, allowing them to decorate Christmas ornaments, paint mini nutcrackers, and string colorful beads on wire circles to make wreaths. Elegant and Not-So-Elegant Junque rooms will be in the basement, offering many books, jewelry and other accessories, linens, pillows, curtains and more.
Lunch will be served between 11 AM and 1:30 PM. The offerings include the church’s $10 lobster roll plate, as well as chicken salad roll, clam chowder, hot dog, chips, desserts, and beverages.
Admission to the fair is free. First Congregational is on the Village Green at 68 Main Street and can be accessed from Main Street or Katharine Lee Bates Road.
