Holocaust film, talk @ Falmouth Jewish Congregation

When: Thu Mar 27th
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Where: 7 Hatchville Road

Falmouth Jewish Congregation will hold a free, public screening of the film, "Six Million and One," and a talk by Israeli director David Fisher. This event is part of the congregation’s winter lifelong learning program exploring the family in Judaism. "Six Million and One" is an eloquent, intense and (at moments) even humorous portrait of documentary filmmaker David Fisher and his siblings as they follow in the footsteps of their late father — a Hungarian Holocaustsurvivor who was interned in Gusen and Gunskirchen, Austria. After reading their father’s diary, found only after his death, the three brothers and sister embark on a journey from Israel to Austria that is both literal and psychological.
