Jam Workshops @ Green Briar Nature Center

Where: Green Briar Nature Center, 6 Discovery Hill Road, East Sandwich

Jam making workshops for adults and for families continue in the historic Green Briar Jam Kitchen in East Sandwich. All materials are provided, and participants take home 4 to 6 jars of finished product to enjoy. Workshops for adults are offered on specific Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings. Coming up are “fresh apricot jam” on June 13 or June 16; “rhubarb date jam” on June 27 or June 30.

Family workshops, which include one adult and one child working together, are offered on a Saturday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm. On June 16 make “fresh apricot jam” and June 30 make “strawberry apricot jam.” The fee per workshop is $30 for members of the Thornton W. Burgess Society, $40 for non-members. Fee includes adult and child in the family workshops. Paid advance registration is required for all workshops. Call 508-888-6870.
