The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and the Citizens Bank present free, weekly outdoor concerts in eight Cape Cod towns during the summer of 2012. The highly popular Citizens Bank Summer Concert Series is presented this year in Chatham, Dennis, Falmouth, Harwich, Hyannis, Mashpee, Orleans, and Sandwich.
Tonight is a special occasion:
The Citizens Bank Summer Concert Series is hosting a food drive to support The Greater Boston Food Bank. Food donations will be distributed to local residents in need through GBFB member agencies in the Cape Cod Hunger Network.
GBFB serves more than 30 Cape Cod food pantries and will be on site to accept donations. Concert goers who donate non-perishable items at the performance will receive a Passport To The Arts, courtesy of The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. The Passport, a $20 value, offers discounts to local theaters, galleries and restaurants.
The Citizens Bank Summer Concert Series features 48 performances by more than 20 popular local bands throughout the summer months. All concerts are free and open to the public.
The full series schedule is available at capenews.net/calendar.
