Fun and adventure in the world of nature begin for children at the GreenBriarNatureCenter in East Sandwich with a focus on pond life July 5 and July 6 from 9:00am to noon.  Use microscopes to examine tiny creatures from the Smiling Pool Pond and explore the properties of water through fun and wet experiments.  Children are registered as Peter Rabbit’s Friends (ages 4 and 5), Discoverers (ages 6 to 8) and Explorers (ages 9 to 12), and class activities are age appropriate for each group. The fee for the two day session is $62 for members of the Thornton W. Burgess Society, $74 for non-members.    Sessions continue throughout the summer with a different focus each week including Pond Life, Forest Life, Spectacular Science and AmazingOcean.
