Jenny Brown is Co-Founder of Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary in New York. The Lucky Ones chronicles her unforgettable journey from personal tragedy to animal welfare advocacy. Her heartwarming stories of farm animal rescues from slaughterhouses and abusive treatment underscore her philosophy of the value of each individual life – whether a goat, a cow or a chicken or a horse – and the beauty of the special personality in every living creature.
Join us. You will enrich this discussion on animal activism and the growing vegan movement as beautifully presented in The Lucky Ones. Copies available at the Clarence Hay Library.
The facilitator is Julie O’Neil, animal advocate.
