The Cape Community Orchestra, under Conductor John P. Hagon, will present its Fall Concert Series on Sunday, November 18, at the Brewster Baptist Church at 3 PM.
The program will include Beethoven’s First Symphony, Cortege by Robert Johnson, Suite Espagnole by Albeniz, Suite in F by Gordon Jacob, and selections from “Les Miserables.”
Freewill donations will be accepted at the door.
The Cape Community Orchestra is an all-volunteer group with members of all ages from across the Cape. Conductor John P. Hagon is former chairman of the music education department at Berklee College of Music in Boston and is known for his career as music director and conductor for community bands in Barnstable and Harwich as well as the Cape Cod Conservatory Band.
As a nonprofit organization, Cape Community Orchestra is supported by private contributions and grants from local and regional institutions. The fall concerts are part of an annual program, which also includes two spring concerts and performances in local schools in February.
