The Fishmongers Coffee House will continue its 35th season of jazz, blues and folk on Tuesday, December 11 with a performance from Tripping Lily.
The acoustic folk pop group draws from a palette of traditional pop-rock inspirations while incorporating sounds from many genres with soulful vocal harmonies, melodic bluegrass creations and deeply personal lyrics. These young Cape musicians include Alex Becrelis on mandolin, guitar and voice; Demetrius Becrelis o n guitar, ukulele and vocals; Monica Rizzio on fiddle, ukulele and voice and Laird Boles on upright bass.
Monica Rizzio also works as a jazz and swing vocalist, and is currently working on an album of jazz standards, backed by bassist Nicki Parrott and guitarist Vinnie Ragnolo. This group is expected to perform at a later Coffee House concert.
All shows begin at 8 PM at the Fishmongers Café, 56 Water Street in Woods Hole. The doors open at 6:30 and a special light fare menu is offered before the show as well as full bar.
