Books By The Sea will host six local authors talking about and signing their works on Friday, December 14 as part of Osterville's 43rd Annual Christmas Open House and Stroll. The festivities run from 6 to 8 PM.
Kevin Symmons will sign his supernatural love story "Rite of Passage;" Adam Gamble will signs "The 1858 Map of Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, & Nantucket" book, his new children's book "Good Night North Pole," and "Good Night Cape Cod;" Arlene Kay signs her new mystery "Die Laughing;" Local photographer Zig Guzikowski, of Scorton Creek Gallery, will be talking about his stunning Osterville and Cape Cod greeting cards and prints; Kathleen Ready Dayan and Kate Walls will be signing their new book "Cape Cod Bear;" and Paul Hebert, one of the founders of Housing For All Corp. and Champ Homes, which have provided affordable and supportive housing for over 1,700 individuals in the past 21 years , will be signing his new book, "Return to Eden." Proceeds from the sale of Paul's book will go to support the wonderful work Housing for All Corp. does to support the homeless on Cape Cod.
The festivities continue on Saturday, December 15, from 3 to 5 PM, Sara Hoagland Hunter signs her renown children's book "The Lighthouse Santa;" local educator Gilbert Newton signs his new book "Discovering the Cape Cod Shoreline;" Steven Marini will be signing his debut mystery "Connections," and local artist Joe Calabrese, of Rustica Birdhouse Art, will be presenting his unique birdhouse holiday ornaments and custom handmade birdhouses.
