November 19, 2012 (Centerville, MA) The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod will host a series of meetings with members of the arts and cultural community to explore how to improve marketing of the arts for Cape Cod. The discussion will include determining the feasibility of a centralized ticketing outlet on Cape Cod that could service many of the area's theaters and museums. The AFCC received an Adams Planning Grant through the Massachusetts Cultural Council earlier this Fall to explore the outlet's viability.

According to AFCC Executive Director, Kevin Howard, "What we want to understand is the best way to market the arts on Cape Cod and discover opportunities that may exist, through the establishment of a strong marketing web site, to drive more business to our cultural venues. A successful execution could provide a more user-friendly environment for visitors and residents who may be overwhelmed in navigating the wide range of choices and lack of ability to purchase on-line."
