Otter & Owl Outing @ Mashpee Public Library

When: Fri Feb 1st
3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Where: Mashpee Public Library | Steeple Street | Mashpee

Join us for a presentation at the Mashpee Public Library and then head to Ashumet Holly Wildlife Sanctuary to search for these secretive creatures of wetland and woodland! Male and female Great Horned Owls are hooting to each other during their mid-winter mating season and seeking abandoned nests to take over. Otters are feeding and frolicking at Grassy Pond, leaving evidence of slides and scaly leftovers. Who knows what other winter wonders we may discover?
