Clermont Chorale @ St. Patrick's Church

When: Thu Apr 4th
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Where: St. Patrick's Church | 511 Main Street | Falmouth

On Thursday, April 4th, St. Patrick’s Church will resound to the stunning sound of County Louth-based Clermont Chorale when it performs a 7:30PM concert of Sacred and Celtic pieces ranging from the 16th century to today.  The concert is sponsored by Schola Cantorum of Falmouth, a small auditioned choir singing a cappella sacred music drawn mainly from the Renaissance period.  Admission is free, with a freewill offering taken.

Clermont Chorale was formed in 2003 and has 35 members, drawn from locales on both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.  Its founding director is Ronan Dennedy, a member of the folk group, The Irish Tradition, which was very popular on Cape Cod in the 1970’s. The classically-trained Dennedy will accompany a number of pieces from the piano.
