The Woods Hole Public Library continues their screenings of recent Oscar winners on Monday, April 22 at 7 PM with the “Best Actor” award winner.  This film also won the American Film Institute’s award for “Movie of the Year”.  History buffs are delighted that this “historical novel” of a film has merited such praise. The director and the main actor are “winners” in everyone’s books.
Since the Library is not allowed to mention the name of the film in any publicity because of a clause in the license for public viewing, figure out this clue: The main character and the eponymous title is a single word which is the name of the 16th president of the United States. You should have no trouble guessing the name, but here is an additional clue: The initials of the award winning actor are “DDL”.
The movie runs for 150 minutes and is rated PG-13. and is free and open to the public. For more details, call the Library at 508-548-8961 or check the website at
