The Falmouth Zoning Board of Appeals, which meets tonight at 6:30 PM at Falmouth Town Hall, will not hold public hearings on two matters on the agenda.

Matthew J. McNamara, chairman of the zoning board, said the board will not have a quorum this evening, and thus cannot hold formal hearings on an appeal of a Falmouth Building Department decision on beachfront work conducted at 43 Gunning Point Avenue, or on a proposed cell phone monopole sited for Old Meetinghouse Road, East Falmouth.

Both hearings were already expected to be continued for other reasons. Attorneys representing the parties involved in the Gunning Point Avenue dispute are working to resolve the situation privately, and the cell phone tower project is awaiting a Development of Regional Impact hearing before the Cape Cod Commission.
