Fire and Rescue personnel used the Jaws of Life to extricate the sole occupant, a 22-year-old man. He was transported to Falmouth Hospital with serious injuries. From there, he was transported by ambulance to a Boston-area hospital.

Police did not identify the victim.

The initial investigation reveals that the vehicle, a 2011 Chevy Cruze, was traveling south on Sandwich Road.
