Mashpee Convenience Store Robbed at Gunpoint

The Mashpee Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public as it searches for a suspect in the armed robbery of a Route 151 convenience store and gas station early  this morning.


A white male entered the Commons Convenience store, formerly known as "Rapid Refill" at 3:39 AM, brandishing a firearm and demanding cash from the store clerk.  The suspect was identified as being approximately six feet tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and bandana mask.  He was able to escape with approximately $500 cash and fled on foot across Route 151. A police K9 unit was able to track the suspect as far as Old Brickyard Road, behind Andy's Market and the Brickyard Marketplace near the Pizza Guyz restaurant.
