Angela Antoinette (Lena) Cogliano, 84, of Buzzards Bay and Hollywood, Florida, died on May 27 at her summer home in Buzzards Bay.
Ms. Cogliano was born in Boston to Frank and Michelina Lena.
She was predeceased by her husband, Felix J. Cogliano.
After graduating from high school, Ms. Cogliano attended the Boston School of Accounting, Lee Institute of Real Estate Brokers, and Melrose Beauty Academy.
She worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Department of Environmental Quality Engineering. She also worked as a real estate broker with Trefrey Real Estate in Burlington and as a traffic officer for the Town of Winchester. In addition, she worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. and possessed a hairdresser’s license.
Ms. Cogliano enjoyed daily walks along the Cape Cod Canal and baking for her friends and family.
She leaves her sister, Patricia Williams; her daughters, Phyllis Corrado and her husband, Richard Corrado, Michele Heppner, Aleta Russell and her husband, David Russell, and Andrea Cogliano and her husband, Patrick Doran; her grandsons, Anthony McCormack, Charles Heppner, and Casey Russell; and her granddaughters, Danielle Mello and Kimberly Musella.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 8, from 4 to 6 PM at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Boulevard, Bourne.
A funeral Mass will be said on Monday, June 9, at 10 AM at St. Margaret’s Church, 141 Main Street, Buzzards Bay.
