Bernadette Manning

Bernadette Manning-Reilly of Mashpee died on April 7 after a struggle with multiple myeloma. She was 81.

She was the daughter of Hugh and Annie Stevenson.

Ms. Manning-Reilly leaves her husband, John Reilly of Mashpee, her children, Robert Manning and his wife, Karen Manning, of Natick, Kevin Manning and his wife, Ellen Manning, of Stow, Anne Manning of Ashland, Julie Kinch and her husband, Joseph Kinch, of Newton, and Mary Manning of Bourne; her stepchild, Kristie Reilly, and her husband, Robert Waxer, of Arlington; three sisters, Mary Rice, Sister Anne Stevenson, SNDdeN, and Patricia Robinson; and 15 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Teresa D’Amico and Agnes Gannon; and a son, Michael Reilly.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, April 10, from 4 to 7 PM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Avenue, Mashpee.

There will be a funeral procession from the funeral home at 10 AM on Friday, April 11, followed by a funeral Mass at Parish of Christ the King in Mashpee at 11 AM and interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ms. Manning-Reilly’s name may be sent to the McCarthy Care Center, 73 Service Rd., East Sandwich, MA 02537.
