Dennis David Doe of Mashpee, 80, died at his home on August 15.
He was husband of Maura Doe.
Mr. Doe was born in Spirit Lake, Idaho, the son of Harold and Vera Doe.
He moved all around northern Idaho with his family before enlisting in the US Army, where he served for three years during the Korean War.
Afterward, he attended the University of Idaho and then the University of Washington, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1962.
He worked for the Boeing Company for 36 years, where he was a computer engineering manager in Seattle, Washington; Huntsville, Alabama; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and northern Virginia.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Doe leaves a daughter, Katherine Doe of Seattle, Washington; a son, David Doe, and his wife, Sheila Doe, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rachel, and Rebecca Doe of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Emma Doe of Seattle, Washington; and a brother, Raymond Doe of Wenatchee, Washington.
He was the brother of the late Leona Zimmer, Beverly Revier, and Kenneth Doe.
A committal service will be held on Friday, August 22, at 10:45 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
A celebration of Mr. Doe’s life will immediately follow at 11:30 AM at the Gateway Christian Center, 4966 Falmouth Road, Cotuit.
