Gertrude M. Wilson, 90, of Aurora, Colorado, a former Falmouth resident, died on May 31.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Wilson Jr.
Born in Centerville, Nova Scotia, Canada, Ms. Wilson moved with her family to Falmouth at the age of 2. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1940.
She married her husband in 1943. Together, they raised a son and a daughter.
Ms. Wilson managed the bookkeeping for her husband’s architectural firm in Falmouth until his retirement in 1988.
She was active in the Falmouth Baptist Church for many years.
In 1988, Ms. Wilson and her husband moved to Siloam Springs, Arkansas. In 1993, they moved to Aurora.
She leaves her daughter, Beth Wilson of Phoenix, Arizona; her son, Grant Wilson of Lee, New Hampshire; and two grandchildren, Taylor Wilson of Austin, Texas, and Samuel Wilson of Lee, New Hampshire. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
