Harriett G. Rosa, 86, of Teaticket died on April 7 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation-Forestview in Wareham. She was known as Penny.
Born in Falmouth, she was the daughter of Joseph W. and Carrie G. (Rezendes) Gloria.
In 1961, after years of traveling abroad, she moved back to Falmouth, where she raised her four children.
Mrs. Rosa enjoyed gardening and was especially proud of her hydrangeas and the variety of flowers she grew in her garden. She also enjoyed reading, writing, knitting, crocheting, arts and crafts, cooking, baking and spending time at Bristol Beach in Falmouth. She was known for her pecan pie.
She leaves her children, Peggy Kaiser of Buzzards Bay, William Satinover of Cooper City, Florida, Laurie Bousquet of Acadia, Florida, and Frank Satinover of Silver Spring, Maryland; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
There are no visiting hours.
A graveside service will be held at Agawam Cemetery, Stillman Memorial Drive, Wareham, at 11 AM on Friday, April 11.
