John P. Eustis II of Duxbury, formerly of Falmouth, died at his home on August 27 at the age of 92.
The son of Grant B. and Ruth Eustis, Mr. Eustis was a longtime summer resident before moving full time to Falmouth in 1983. He lived in Duxbury for the last 11 years of his life.
Before moving to Falmouth and Duxbury, he lived in Wellesley, where he raised his family.
Mr. Eustis was a photographer in the US Army Air Force Division during World War II.
After his service, he spent most of his career in sales. He was vice president and partner of General Microfilm Company in Cambridge.
Outside of work, he was an active churchgoer, a Mason, and served on the board of directors of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. Eustis also traveled frequently. He took his family to Guadeloupe, St. Johns, a barge trip through central France, and antique car rallies throughout Europe.
He also enjoyed driving his Model A Woodies in parades and weddings.
He leaves his seven children, Pamela Putnam of Lutz, Florida, Lee Cohen of Putney, Vermont, Janet Eustis of Naples, Florida, Judith Meddoun of Rabat, Morocco, Gary Schirmer of Tewksbury, Philip Schirmer of Sargentville, Maine, and Isabel Schilling of Rochester; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Eustis was the husband of the late Isabel Wales Eustis, Nancy Schirmer Eustis, and Elizabeth Jane Sanger; companion of the late Francis Churchill; and father of the late Grant Warner Eustis.
Private graveside services will be held at Newton Cemetery.
