Joseph J. Maccini, 75, owner of the Country Fare Restaurant on Main Street in Falmouth, died on June 23.
A resident of East Falmouth, Mr. Maccini was the son of John and Cecelia (Fiore) Maccini.
He leaves his wife, Paula R. (Lazzaro) Maccini.
Mr. Maccini served in the US Marine Corps Reserve. He later owned and operated successful businesses, among them an electrical contracting business, a commercial relocation business and several restaurants.
His favorite, however, was the Country Fare Restaurant. He loved cooking for people, especially his own family.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his three sons, David J. Maccini and his wife, Elizabeth Maccini, of North Falmouth, Randolph J. Maccini of Wakefield, and G. Joseph Maccini of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his grandchildren, Madison and Matthew Maccini; and his sister, Gloria Gioia of Peabody.
Mr. Maccini was predeceased by his siblings, Rose MacDonald, Carmella Pallaza, Ann Calrando, and John Maccini.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 16, at 11 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 511 Main Street, Falmouth.
Burial will be private.
