Michelle Tiare Bosch, 63, a photographer and longtime resident of Falmouth, died August 16 after a long battle with cancer.
Ms. Bosch was born in San Francisco and graduated from Friends School in Baltimore, Maryland. Later, she attended Stephens College.
She was owner of Michelle Bosch Photography and specialized in shooting weddings and portraits. Her work was often displayed in Falmouth venues including Highfield Hall. She also worked as a photographer for the Enterprise.
Her print “Intimate Interlude” was awarded a red ribbon at the 1994 Professional Photographers of Massachusetts Print Competition.
Ms. Bosch was a member of numerous professional organizations, including Professional Photographers of New England, Professional Photographers of Massachusetts, and the Professional Photographers of Cape Cod.
She also was an animal rights activist.
She leaves her father, Dr. Herman Bosch; two brothers, Fritz and Paul Bosch; a sister, Eva Bosch Klein; and her stepmother, Rebecca Chambers.
A memorial in Ms. Bosch’s memory is being planned for a date in October.
