Stephen M. Jablonski, 96, of Falmouth died August 12 at the Royal Nursing Home in Falmouth after a period of failing health.
He was the husband of Isabella (McAloon) Jablonski for 71 years.
Mr. Jablonski was born, raised and educated in Greenfield. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a bachelor of science degree in engineering.
He lived in Shrewsbury and worked many years as a metallurgist for the Wyman Gordon Company.
Mr. Jablonski was a communicant of Parish of Christ the King in Mashpee and a member of the Elks Club and ASM International.
He enjoyed skiing, and was a ski jumper in his youth. Mr. Jablonski also traveled, and enjoyed vacationing in Maine and Florida.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Jablonski leaves his children, Edward S. Jablonski of Sutton, Pamela Fantaroni and her husband, Robert Fantaroni, of Marstons Mills, and David Jablonski and his wife, Susan Jablonski, of Whitman; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Jeanette Martin.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, August 16, from 9 to 10:30 AM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Avenue, Mashpee.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated following visiting hours at 11 AM at Parish of Christ the King in Mashpee.
Interment will follow at the Marstons Mills Cemetery.
