Police Raid Of Forestdale Home Nets Drugs, Guns

Police raided a home on Arnold Road in Forestdale Thursday evening, confiscating drugs, cash, and guns, and arresting a 26-year-old man on a host of drug and weapons charges.
The raid was the culmination of a lengthy narcotics investigation of the man, Jaime L. Clarke, who has addresses in both Forestdale and Dennis.
Immediately prior to the 5:30 PM raid, police stopped a 30-year-old man and 43-year-old woman, both Falmouth residents, leaving the Arnold Road home with approximately one pound of marijuana, police said. The two Falmouth residents will be summoned on charges of possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance law.
A search warrant was then served at the Arnold Road address, resulting in the seizure of over $11,000 in cash, approximately one-quarter pound of marijuana, an undetermined amount of hashish, packaging materials, two handguns, three rifles, one shotgun and ammunition from the residence.
A 58-year-old Forestdale man, who also resides at the Arnold Road home, will be summoned on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
A raid was also conducted at Mr. Clarke’s Dennis address at Old Chatham Road, Unit 408. The Dennis search resulted in the seizure of several vials of steroids, Suboxone, various prescription pills, three boxes of handgun ammunition and a small quantity of marijuana
Mr. Clarke has been charged with distribution of Class D substance, possession of Class D substance with intent to distribute, possession of a class C substance, conspiracy to violate controlled substance law, improper storage of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Mr. Clarke was held on $10,000 cash bail and will be arraigned Friday morning in Barnstable District Court.
