Bourne volleyball kept its winning streak intact last night with a 3-1 victory at Dennis-Yarmouth, by scores of 25-11, 15-25, 25-18 and 25-19.
“The team came out very strong in the first game, but had a small setback in the second game,” coach Aimee Jarominski said. “Seniors Alli Achstetter, Shelby Corsano, and Amanda Pomeroy led the team defensively with 26 digs collectively. It was a team effort at the net offensively, Alli Achstetter, Colleen Brady, Chelsea Doucette, Miranda Partosan, and Amanda Pomeroy collected 27 kills as a team. Shelby Corsano was our leading server with 16 service points and she had 22 assists.”
Bourne made quick work of the Old Rochester Bulldogs on Monday with a 3-0 sweep.
The Lady Canalmen posted scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-11 behind a big night from Pomeroy and Brady at the line who had 19 and 13 service points respectively. Brianna Rubin also had a solid night for Bourne finishing with five assists.
Bourne (18-0, 15-0 SCC) heads to Fairhaven tomorrow night with the South Coast Conference title on the line.
