The Lady Knights were represented by Liz Wegman, Tory Sivco and Katie Lowry, while Matt Mullin, Jake Carter, Jackson Riedel and Joey Downes competed for the boys’ team.

Wegman led the girls with a 10th-place finish in the 800-meter run at 2:25.51. Sivco was 16th in the two-mile run with a finish of 11:57.70 and Lowry took 18th in the one-mile run in 5:33.90.

On the boys' side, Mullin finished 10th in the 400-meter hurdles, posting a time of 1:01.13. Mullin then joined Carter, Riedel and Downes for a 22nd-place finish in the 4x100 relay at 48.18.

Said Sandwich coach Lori Horan, “I am proud of those that made it to the divisional level. I am proud of the captains this year that certainly put team before self. It was a building year and a start to something wonderful to come. The focus was on the personal victories and introducing many of the young athletes who have not been exposed to track and field to the many events they can compete in.”
