With one out DiBona singled to left field, then stole second. A passed ball allowed her to race to third. Hannah Rawlings led off the bottom of the third with a base hit. After she stole second, Amelia Weare moved her to third with a base hit into left field. A bunt by Michele Ryan moved Weare to second and a passed ball brought Rawlings home and allowed Weare to take third. Sarah Vaughan then grounded out to score Weare as UCT pulled ahead 7-5.
